Melana Boscio Hydrick has more than a decade of experience in healthcare public relations and marketing. In her work for a large not-for-profit hospital in central Tennessee, she managed internal and external communication projects and written and coordinated a variety of communication pieces.  Additionally, she has experience in media and employee relations in her work with a nationally known teaching and research medical center in Nashville.

For Mayes Communications, Melana coordinates media relations projects and provides editorial and writing services to a variety of health care clients.

Melana holds a bachelor’s degree in mass communication with an emphasis in public relations from Middle Tennessee State University. She offers extensive knowledge of effectively relaying information, whether the audience is seasoned employees or the general public.

 

 

Vanessa Granville

Vanessa Granville is an innovative communicator with significant experience in branding, marketing, corporate communications, and event planning. She has a passion for solving complex challenges and developing actionable insights to create strategies that engage her target market across a variety of channels and help facilitate their decision processes to deliver measurable results.

Prior to joining Evolent Health, Vanessa honed her tactical communications and project management skills in a variety of nonprofit and health care settings, including NRECA, Kaiser Permanente, MedStar Harbor Hospital, and the Navy Marine Coast Guard Residence Foundation.

Vanessa obtained a bachelor’s degree in communications with a concentration in public relations from Hood College in Frederick, Md. and recently earned her MBA from The Johns Hopkins Carey Business School.

 

 

A.Ebert

Amanda Ebert is an enthusiastic and effective communications professional with more than 10 years of progressive experience in public relations, marketing, project management, event planning, and strategic leadership skills.

She previously worked as the assistant vice president of marketing & communications at Frederick County Bank, where her responsibilities included creating brand messaging and advertising initiatives, providing marketing support to five bank centers and the business development team, planning client and community events to support strategic goals, managing sponsorship contributions to nonprofit organizations, and coordinating volunteer opportunities to strengthen community relationships.

Amanda obtained a bachelor’s degree in communications with a concentration in public relations from Hood College, followed by an M.B.A., with a focus in marketing from Mount St. Mary’s University. She completed the Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Frederick County program in 2013 and received the American Advertising Federation – Greater Frederick Chapter’s Marketer of the Year award in 2014.

Alissa Momberg Lawver is a communications specialist with nearly a decade of experience in health communications, public affairs and media relations. Alissa advises a number of health care clients by providing strategic counsel, project management, and media relations and messaging support.

Previously, Alissa served as an account director at JPA Health Communications, a health care communications firm where she provided strategic counsel and day-to-day support for a variety of national health organizations. Prior to her work with JPA, Alissa served as a manager with Burson-Marsteller, where she focused on media relations, thought leadership, advocacy and messaging for her health care and corporate clients.

Early in her career, Alissa served as the communications manager with the Center for Health Transformation, a health care policy collaborative. She also served as an associate at the Advisory Board Company, a global research, technology, and consulting firm helping hospital executives better serve patients.

A Florida native, Alissa received her undergraduate degree in English from the University of Florida and her master’s degree in communications from Johns Hopkins University.
